Programs for getting more kids 16 and under into our sport.

I think its time for the P.D.G.A or a new group of promoters to follow in the PGA's footsteps and start national programs like First TEE and the Drive, Chip & Putts competition.

The question is whether or not our current players and promoters are willing to do whats necessary to curb the "extra curricular activities" that parents wouldn't want their kids exposed to at the course. I know some areas of the country are different than others, but I'm interested in what you think.
